The Humber is home to eight operational offshore wind farms supplying 4.9GW of clean energy to British homes and businesses, and a pipeline of projects including Hornsea 3 and 4. The ambition is to deliver at least 13.8GW by 2030, representing 35% of the UK's total energy production.

In response to the Governments Offshore Wind Sector Deal, the Humber Offshore Wind Prospectus has been produced and defines the pathway for growth and has developed a ’call to action’ across Place, Business Environment, Ideas, People and Infrastructure and sets out the collective ambition to drive the cluster forward, ensuring the regions stays ahead of the game and a world leader in Offshore Wind.
