Production Operative

To be part of an effective team offering full support to the shift supervisor and charge hand to ensure that production targets are met on time and in accordance with agreed company standards and policies by the efficient running and setting up of all equipment and machinery within their control.

Products to be produced are to the agreed specification whilst ensuring throughputs and waste are kept within agreed targets.

To be a pro-active member of the Production team, working as part of that team and maintaining company standards.

To work with speed and efficiency to ensure that products are of a high standard and all orders are met in full.

Responsible for the correct care and running of all machinery and equipment. Optimising overall machine effectiveness by reducing downtime whilst maintaining product quality.

Ensure product quality through definition of product and process specifications

Ensure all process and quality checks are completed and ensure any out of tolerance results are reported immediately to your Supervisor or Chargehand.

Always be aware of Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.

Always keep your work area clean tidy and uncluttered.

Carry out all other reasonable duties to meet the needs of the business as requested by the Supervisor and Shift Manager.

Report any maintenance issues or breakdowns immediately to the shift Supervisor.
