Businesses in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire who have received support from the Green Port Growth Programme (GPGP) will be speaking about the benefits at a high-profile event as part of Humber Business Week 2015.

Boston Energy, Pearlgreen Engineering, HFR Solutions and AIG Engineering will take to the stage at the Team Humber Marine Alliance (THMA) annual offshore conference and exhibition – Offshore Wind Connections 2015 (OWC 2015). The event attracts regional, national and international delegates.

They have all received support from the GPGP, which has been created to establish East Yorkshire as a world-class centre for renewable energy and supported by the Government’s Regional Growth Fund.

A fringe event of Humber Business Week, OWC 2015 will take place at The Spa, Bridlington on Thursday 4th June.

“These four businesses have had the vision and determination to access this growing sector. Other companies who are interested in opportunities in the Humber’s emerging energy sector will be able to hear what they have achieved to date and how Business Support schemes have helped them on their journey.
